Marley’s Doggie Ranch – Private Dog Park in Luddenham

Marley & Bear’s is a home-based family run business on a 5 Acre property in the Council Approved Doggy Zone at Greyhound Retreat, Nambeelup (Approximately 10k East of Mandurah). “The Doggy House”, “Doggy Shed” and “Doggy Parks” make up well over 1000 square meters of two fully enclosed Doggy Playgrounds. Two large indoor play areas mean your fur baby can hide from those rainy or hot sunny days but also still have the freedom to venture outside whenever they feel like it. The choice is theirs.

The Doggy Houses are set up to be a home from home for the Dogs. They are designed to feel just like a normal and comfortable home environments but with the bonus of lots of fun activities and a ridiculously huge garden!!! Fully equipped with a Kitchen, Bathroom, Doggy Bedroom and Doggy Lounge room, your fur baby will feel right at home.

We are NOT a KENNEL. Whether your fur baby visits Marley & Bear’s for Daycare or to linger a little longer whilst you are away, your dog will not be confined to a kennel. Our Daycare friends spend the whole day with the freedom to roam, stretch and play. They are not limited to short periods of outside play or made to stay outdoors for specific periods of time. Katy, Matt and their daytime visitors spend the days playing, cuddling and adapting their routine based on what best fits the specific dogs and the weather conditions, with the flexibility to play both indoors and outdoors. We only offer overnight stays to our regular Daycare clients in order to ensure all dogs build that very important relationship. As one of our regular Daycare clients, availability is very limited as your doggo will sleep in the family home and be part of Marley & Bear’s family.

Marley & Bear’s has it’s own DOGGY BUS. We run transfers daily between Secret Harbour, Golden Bay, Singleton, Karnup and Lakelands with the opportunity to continue a little further south if required. The Doggy Bus runs daily between 07:30- 09:30am and 3:00pm and 5:00pm. The pick-up and drop-off service is subject to space and availability and incurs a $10 return fee on top of your Daycare booking. Owners are welcome to drop off and pick up their pups between 07:30am and 4:30pm. (Occasional times outside these hours may be available by prior arrangement and will inccur an additional fee).

The two large fenced areas we have here at Marley & Bear’s means that we do not have to venture outside of our Daycare to exercise and socialise our visitors. This means that all dogs that your pup encounters are temperament tested and are not merely meeting any old dog at the dog park. In turn Doggy Daycare is not for every dog. It is not a place for aggressive or reactive dogs to learn how to socialise and all dogs will have to meet our strict temperament requirements.

Activity areas: From the agility play area, the paddling pool, the ball pool, the stick library to the huge range of doggy toys, your pup won’t know where to start!
Rest areas to suit individual Dog’s needs. We all know some Dogs will flop when they have worn themselves out from play and that others may need a helping hand to get their energy back. We have a spot for everyone, from the comfy beds dotted around, the Doggy Couch, the Zzzzz room, the cool concrete floors to the “Snooze Pods”, which are specially designed partitioned resting spaces with a comfy bed and water bowl in each.

​Client information forms – these give Katy & Matt a little bit of background on your pooch and what they like and dislike so they can tailor their services to individual needs. ​

A Trial Day is offered to every new client. This allows Katy & Matt to meet the dogs and their owners and helps to make that first pick up or drop off less stressful for everyone. Trial days are charged at the normal daily rate.

We do not take ‘casual’ or ‘one off’ bookings as this can disrupt group dynamics. We like to keep the same dogs in the same groups on the same days as much as possible in order to ensure maximum happiness for each and every dog.

Same dog to human every visit. This creates a trust and bond between both Katy, Matt and their doggies so everyone can rest assured knowing everyone is comfortable with each other.​

Photo updates of your best friend. Katy & Matt know what it is like to want reassurance that your fur baby is a happy doggy, so updates are posted on our private Facebook Family page regularly throughout the day so you can witness firsthand all of the fun your pup is having.
