Facilities are limited directly on the beach, but the surrounding area includes parkland, walking paths, and access to local amenities in Beachmere.

Off‑Leash Access at Beachmere Foreshore
Dogs are permitted off‑leash in the designated Dog Off‑Leash Area (DOLA):
– From the southern end of Biggs Avenue, across from the car park, south of the second footbridge.
This off‑leash area covers approximately 13 hectares at low tide, and dogs are allowed on the signed parkland and beach only.

Seasonal Off‑Leash Area – Bayside Drive
– Dogs may be exercised off‑leash on the foreshore of Bayside Drive between 1 May and 31 July.
– From 1 August to 30 April, this same area becomes on‑leash only.

On‑Leash Areas
Dogs must remain on‑leash in the following zones:
– From Louise Drive to the northern end of Bayside Drive
– From Prince Street to the southern end of Biggs Avenue

Prohibited Areas
To protect sensitive shorebird habitat:
– No dogs or horses are permitted in the prohibited areas, including Beachmere Conservation Park.
Penalties apply for entering these zones.

Horses‑Only Area
– Horses may be exercised between the Louise Drive beach entry point and Brooks Road.
– No dogs are permitted in this area.
